The Pool Filter Box comes in various sizes and configurations to cater for every layout.

The slim models cater for more confined spaces whilst the backless models cater for situations when you have less than 50mm from the equipment to the wall / fence.

The smaller models (< 1100mm in width) will easily fit a filter (cartridge or sand), a pump, a chlorinator, and the power points. The larger models (> 1100mm in width) will fit a filter (sand or cartridge), multiple pumps, spa blowers, chlorinators and more.

Single units have 1 access point from the front (fully removable door) and 1 from the top (lid opens by approx. 1 metre). Double (and larger units) have 2+ removable front doors and 2+ top lids.

Model C -  Pool Filter / Pump enclosure measurements (in MM):

External: 2175(W) X  1100(D) X 1150(H)

Internal: 2125(W) X 1000(D) X 1100(H)

Notes with regards to measurements:

1. The external measurements are actually the same as the internal measurements throughout the box with the exception of the bottom and top of the box - where the metal bends to allow for the acoustic foaming to be housed.

2. All boxes also come in 'Backless configuration' - Please allow an additional 65mm in depth for Backless models

3. It is advisable to allow for an additional 10-20mm on all asides of your Concrete slab (if laying the box on a slab)

4. The lid requires 50mm of clearance to fully open. Please consider if placing the box against a wall or other hard surfaces.



All our Pool Filter / Pump Covers can be assembled in 45 minutes (single box) to 60 minutes (double box)

The Material & Fabrication 

The Pool Filter Box weights approx. between 60 and 100 KGS in total, depending on the model, and is made of 0.9 mm thick Galvanised (BlueScope™) steel and finished with dense (Dulux Colorbond™) powder coating. All external and internal accessories are either galvanized or made of solid stainless steel. 

The Galvanization means that the box is designed not to rust for 10+ years. The unique design and fabrication ensure withstanding the harsh Australian environment and extreme weather conditions.

Internal Design 

The box has 20mm thick dressed pine timber piece on the rear panel - for affixing controller units, Chlorinators and Power Points/GPOs.

Engineered Ventilation Gaps 

There're also 25mm ventilation gaps at the front and back of the box allowing for proper air-flow in and out of the box to protect the equipment.

Acoustic Foam 

The 20mm thick Acoustic Foam (29/400 grade) is industrially affixed internally on every panel – and comes certified by an independent Acoustic Engineer to reduce noise by up to 70%.

Assembly

On average, models that are <1.7m in width (single) take 45 minutes to assemble and models that are >1.7m (double) take 45 - 60 minutes.

The Box utilises captive nuts for ease of assembly

 The box comes flat packed and is either hand unloaded by our driver at destination (Sydney metro deliveries) or packed in large cardboard boxes (for regional and interstate deliveries) . 



Delivery & Pickups

The Pool Filter Box™ delivers to all areas in Australia. 

Delivery fee varies by location and proximity to our warehouse in Sydney. Delivery lead times is (generally) 5-7 days (Sydney metro) and 7-14 days (Regional & Interstate).  

Trade customers are welcome to pick up (by appointment only) from our warehouse in Sydney. Please see our delivery terms and conditions (in the T&Cs) section for more information.

 

Terms & Conditions

 A) Deliveries

  1. Deliveries within the Sydney Metro area: Within 5-7 working days of order date unless mutually agreed otherwise
  2. Interstate & Regional deliveries: The order must be placed at least 7 working days before required delivery date. Delivery will be within 7-14 days of order date
  3. The above delivery terms are for standard sizes and colours only. Please contact us for custom sizes and/or colour orders for exact prices and delivery lead times.
  4. The Pool Filter Box Pty Ltd™ will deliver to the address and on the date as indicated on the order form / other correspondence. We are unable to guarantee an exact delivery time. Delivery will take place between 7 am – 6 pm.
  5. Our driver/courier will deliver to the person specified on the order form. In the event the person is not at the property / no person is specified, the driver will leave the product(s) as close as practically possible to the front door of the property.
  6. The  Pool Filter Box Pty Ltd™ does not take any responsibility for any lost or damaged product(s) after delivery.
  7. The goods and/or services rendered remain the property of Pool Filter Box™ until full payment for the goods / services are received.

 B) Warranties, exchanges, refunds & faulty goods

  1.  Any claims for damaged or faulty products must be reported to The  Pool Filter Box™ within 24 hours of delivery, otherwise it will be deemed the product(s) are received in good order and the full amount as per the invoice is payable.
  2. In the event the product(s) is damaged or faulty due to an error by The  Pool Filter Box™, we will deliver a new product(s) or panel(s) as per the order form. Delivery date for a replacement will be made within 14 business days.
  3. Any changes to orders must be communicated in writing to The  Pool Filter Box™ before shipment of the product(s) otherwise it is deemed that the order is correct as per the order form.
  4. In the event Pool Filter Box™ agrees to exchange a product (after delivery), an administration fee of $110+ GST will be charged. Additionally, a delivery and pickup fee of $95+GST will also be charged in the event the new product is to be delivered to site.
  5. In the event an incorrect order is placed by the customer, Pool Filter Box™ will charge a cost per panel for every panel that needs to be replaced. Panel costs vary depending on size and type.
  6. The  Pool Filter Box™ will only allow exchanges (after delivery) if the goods have not been installed and remain intact in their original wrapping.
  7. In the event of a cancellation (by the customer) before delivery and within 48 hours of placing the order, an administration fee of $110 + GST will be charged.
  8. Cancellations (by the customer) after 48 hours of placing the order will not be entitled to a refund. A credit may be applied to a future order at the company's discretion.
  9. The  Pool Filter Box™ does not offer any guarantees with regards the life of the following as this will depend on the location and level of exposure to the elements and geographical location:             
  1. the powder coating
  2. the acoustic foam
  3. the gas struts

10. The Pool Filter Box™ offers a pro-rata 7-year warranty on all other parts of the box. Proof of purchase is required and warranties are not transferable. This warranty does not cover:

  1. Intentional or accidental damage to the parts caused by the customer, natural disasters or act of God
  2. Where the parts have been altered, or tampered with
  3. Where the parts were installed incorrectly
  4. Limitations apply to no rust warranty for sea spray zones or coastal environments

D) Installations (available in Sydney, Brisbane, Gold Coast & Perth metro areas only)

      1.A standard installation is defined as / includes:
        a. Installing the footings
        b. Installing the enclosure including backless enclosures and any size
        c. Hole-sawing through the enclosure to let pipes in/out of the enclosure & re-plumbing up to 1 small pipe
        d. Attaching timber sleepers to the wall
        e. Minor levelling of ground (not more than 20mm gradient / slope)

       2.  A standard installation does Not include:
        a. Major replumbing or moving equipment (EG: relocating a heater or a pump)
        b. Decommissioning old enclosures and / or disposal
        c. Major site preparation work such as major leveling of ground etc.
      3. Once an order is received Pool Filter Box will request for the customer to email pictures of the site and description of the work required
      4. If it is apparent the installation is not standard, the custimer can elect to have the installation cost refunded or for our installer to attend the site (at no cost) and re-quote for the installation.
      5. No refund is given for the cost of the enclosure and / or other services & products selected in the event the installation service is cancelled or the new installation quote is not accepted.
